Medical X-ray film is only part of it, and we also collect dental, veterinary, aerial, lithographic and industrial film. For large quantities, onsite film purging is available, so the film can be destroyed before it ever leaves your building.
Our staff are background-checked, the chain of custody is documented end to end, and every HIPAA-Compliant collection ends with a Destruction Certificate. X-ray film is silver-bearing, so silver reclamation is part of the process and a silver reimbursement is paid on qualifying loads.
We are i-SIGMA members, EPA registered, and can provide references from clients we have recently worked with nearby. The process is eco-friendly and zero landfill: silver goes to refining and smelting, and the PET plastic in the film base is recovered.
