Every batch moves under a documented chain of custody to our secured facility, where HIPAA-Compliant destruction leaves the film permanently destroyed and a Destruction Certificate is issued. X-ray film is silver-bearing, so silver reclamation is part of the process and a silver reimbursement is paid on qualifying loads.

Since 2008 we have been a safe, reputable company to hand film to, and we are registered with the EPA and hold professional liability insurance. The process is eco-friendly and zero landfill: silver goes to refining and smelting, and the PET plastic in the film base is recovered.
