Portage X-ray film disposal service

We offer a free pick-up for X-rays anywhere in Portage as long as you have 30 lbs of film or more.

We serve imaging centers, urgent care clinics, nursing homes and records storage companies throughout the area. Our trucks work the Northwest Indiana every week, which keeps scheduling fast. Basements, storage units and off-site record rooms are all fair game, and next-day pickup is often possible.

X-Ray Film Recycling in Portage, Done Properly

Beyond standard medical X-ray film we take industrial film, NDT film, aerial film and silver-rich fixer solution. Onsite film purging is available for large quantities as an alternative to transport to our secured facility.

Once your state's medical-records retention period has passed, HIPAA-Compliant destruction makes sure the film is permanently destroyed and certified as such. Our silver reclamation process recovers the metal from every sheet, with a silver reimbursement paid by the pound.

Since 2008 we have been a safe, reputable company to hand film to, and we are registered with the EPA and hold professional liability insurance. Silver refining and PET plastic recovery keep both materials out of landfill, which is the eco-friendly part of the job. Our coverage takes in Portage and the rest of Porter County, including Valparaiso, Chesterton and Hebron. Call or message us to arrange a date.
