Central City X-ray film disposal service

Anyone in Central City sitting on 30 lbs or more of archived film can arrange a free pick-up with us.

We collect from hospitals and surgery centers as readily as from single-chair dental offices. Being active across the western Kentucky means short lead times for collections. Fast pickup is the norm here, and one-time cleanouts are just as welcome as ongoing arrangements.

Central City X-Ray Film Disposal, Start to Finish

Nothing needs sorting first: medical X-ray, CT, MRI, mammography, dental and veterinary film travel in the same boxes. Large quantities qualify for onsite film purging, so nothing readable leaves the premises.

Film is sealed in locked collection containers with tamper-evident seals and taken for HIPAA-Compliant destruction at our secured facility. Silver reclamation is what makes the service free, and larger volumes earn a silver reimbursement settled on collection.

Since 2008 we have collected film safely and legally, and we are happy to put you in touch with local references. This is a zero landfill process, and we can issue a Certificate of Recycling for your sustainability records. The service reaches well past Central City and covers the whole of Muhlenberg County, including Greenville, Powderly and Drakesboro. Message us and we will set a time.
