Florence X-ray film disposal service

Clearing out a film room in Florence? Our free pick-up applies once you have 30 lbs on hand.

Records storage companies, universities and government agencies make up a good share of our larger collections. We run regular routes across the whole northern Kentucky. Recurring pickups can be scheduled for facilities that produce film continuously, or we can handle a single cleanout.

How the Florence Collection Works

Medical X-ray film is only part of it, and we also collect dental, veterinary, aerial, lithographic and industrial film. For large quantities, onsite film purging is available, so the film can be destroyed before it ever leaves your building.

Our staff are background-checked, the chain of custody is documented end to end, and every HIPAA-Compliant collection ends with a Destruction Certificate. X-ray film is silver-bearing, so silver reclamation is part of the process and a silver reimbursement is paid on qualifying loads.

A BBB Accredited business with an A+ rating, EPA registered and fully insured, we serve clients nationwide. The process is eco-friendly and zero landfill: silver goes to refining and smelting, and the PET plastic in the film base is recovered. We collect in Florence and right across Boone County, Burlington, Union and Walton included. Let us know when suits you and we will do the rest.
