Roberta X-ray film disposal service

If you are holding 30 lbs or more of old X-ray film in Roberta, our free pick-up costs you nothing.

Our clients in the area include dentists, orthodontists, chiropractors and podiatrists alongside larger imaging centers. We are in the Macon metro area constantly, so a pick-up rarely waits long. We can collect from a hospital loading dock, or clear out a basement or storage unit if that is where the film ended up.

How the Roberta Collection Works

Medical X-ray film, PET and nuclear medicine film, ultrasound thermal prints, radiographic paper and lithographic film are all accepted. Onsite film purging is available for large quantities, which suits hospitals that cannot release intact records.

Handling is HIPAA-Compliant from collection onward, and you receive a Destruction Certificate once the film is permanently destroyed. Expect a silver reimbursement on larger quantities: silver reclamation is the engine behind the whole program.

We are a reputable, established company: licensed, insured, EPA registered and members of i-SIGMA. Eco-friendly disposal matters here: the silver is refined and the plastic base is recycled rather than dumped. Coverage extends from Roberta throughout Crawford County, with Fort Valley, Byron and Macon on the same run. Get in touch to arrange your collection.
