Summerville X-ray film disposal service

Old X-ray film taking up storage space in Summerville? We offer a free pick-up at 30 lbs and above.

We serve imaging centers, urgent care clinics, nursing homes and records storage companies throughout the area. Our trucks work the Northwest Georgia every week, which keeps scheduling fast. Next-day pickup is usually available, and we can set up scheduled or recurring collections if you generate film regularly.

How the Summerville Collection Works

Beyond standard medical X-ray film we take industrial film, NDT film, aerial film and silver-rich fixer solution. Holding a serious volume? Onsite film purging is available for large quantities, witnessed by your own staff.

Once your state's medical-records retention period has passed, HIPAA-Compliant destruction makes sure the film is permanently destroyed and certified as such. We handle the silver reclamation ourselves and pay a silver reimbursement by the pound at competitive rates.

We have run this service since 2008, are licensed and insured, carry professional liability insurance and are a BBB Accredited business with an A+ rating. A Certificate of Recycling is available on request, confirming the film was handled on a zero landfill basis. Beyond Summerville we also serve the entire Chattooga County, as well as Trion, Lyerly and Menlo. Contact us for more info.
