Algona X-ray film disposal service

Our X-ray film recycling program covers Algona, with a free pick-up on any load of 30 lbs or more.

Universities, government agencies and private practices alike can use the same collection service. Being active across the north central Iowa means short lead times for collections. Fast pickup is the norm here, and one-time cleanouts are just as welcome as ongoing arrangements.

Serving Algona Since 2008

As well as medical X-ray film we handle CT and MRI film, PET and nuclear medicine film, dental film and industrial film. Onsite film purging is available for large quantities, which suits hospitals that cannot release intact records.

The film never leaves our custody until it is permanently destroyed, and the HIPAA-Compliant Destruction Certificate documents exactly that. Expect a silver reimbursement on larger quantities: silver reclamation is the engine behind the whole program.

Since 2008 we have collected film safely and legally, and we are happy to put you in touch with local references. Eco-friendly disposal matters here: the silver is refined and the plastic base is recycled rather than dumped. The service reaches well past Algona and covers the whole of Kossuth County, including Bancroft, Burt and Titonka. Message us and we will set a time.
