Cresco X-ray film disposal service

Clearing out a film room in Cresco? Our free pick-up applies once you have 30 lbs on hand.

NDT and aerospace labs and commercial printers use us for industrial film, alongside our medical clients. We are in the northeast Iowa constantly, so a pick-up rarely waits long. Fast pickup is the norm here, and one-time cleanouts are just as welcome as ongoing arrangements.

We accept medical X-ray film, dental film, veterinary film, lithographic film, aerial film and non-destructive testing film. Large quantities qualify for onsite film purging, so nothing readable leaves the premises.

X-ray film proper destruction happens at our secured facility under a chain of custody, with HIPAA-Compliant procedures and a Destruction Certificate on completion. Silver reclamation is what makes the service free, and larger volumes earn a silver reimbursement settled on collection.

Since 2008 we have collected film safely and legally, and we are happy to put you in touch with local references. This is a zero landfill process, and we can issue a Certificate of Recycling for your sustainability records. The service reaches well past Cresco and covers the whole of Howard County, including Lime Springs, Elma and Riceville. Message us and we will set a time.
