Sac City X-ray film disposal service

Clients in Sac City can book a free pick-up once 30 lbs of X-ray film has accumulated.

Universities, government agencies and private practices alike can use the same collection service. Being active across the west central Iowa means short lead times for collections. We can collect from a hospital loading dock, or clear out a basement or storage unit if that is where the film ended up.

What We Accept from Sac City Practices

As well as medical X-ray film we handle CT and MRI film, PET and nuclear medicine film, dental film and industrial film. Onsite film purging is available for large quantities, which suits hospitals that cannot release intact records.

The film never leaves our custody until it is permanently destroyed, and the HIPAA-Compliant Destruction Certificate documents exactly that. Expect a silver reimbursement on larger quantities: silver reclamation is the engine behind the whole program.

We are a reputable, established company: licensed, insured, EPA registered and members of i-SIGMA. Eco-friendly disposal matters here: the silver is refined and the plastic base is recycled rather than dumped. Coverage extends from Sac City throughout Sac County, with Odebolt, Wall Lake and Schaller on the same run. Get in touch to arrange your collection.
