Boone X-ray film disposal service

Boone is on our regular route, and we offer a free pick-up for X-ray film from 30 lbs upward.

Veterinary clinics, urgent care centers and nursing homes all use the service, as do full-size hospitals. The Ames metro area is core territory for us, with routes running through it weekly. Next-day pickup is usually available, and we can set up scheduled or recurring collections if you generate film regularly.

Boone X-Ray Film Disposal, Start to Finish

We handle medical and dental film, vet film, NDT and industrial film, X-ray jackets and envelopes, and loose film scrap. Onsite film purging is available for large quantities as an alternative to transport to our secured facility.

We meet HIPAA-Compliant standards along with HITECH and FACTA, and X-ray film proper destruction is documented and certified. Our silver reclamation process recovers the metal from every sheet, with a silver reimbursement paid by the pound.

We have run this service since 2008, are licensed and insured, carry professional liability insurance and are a BBB Accredited business with an A+ rating. Silver refining and PET plastic recovery keep both materials out of landfill, which is the eco-friendly part of the job. Beyond Boone we also serve the entire Boone County, as well as Madrid, Ogden and Boxholm. Contact us for more info.
